OUR MISSION
AT BLOOMUP
"To simplify, secure, and make natural beauty desirable—without ever sacrificing pleasure, effectiveness, or fair price."

A WORD FROM THE CEO
❝ Simplify, secure, and make natural beauty desirable — without ever compromising on pleasure, effectiveness, or fair price. ❞
"The creation of Bloomup in 2013 stemmed from a simple observation: natural beauty was either unaffordable or incomprehensible. Shelves were overflowing with promises, indecipherable ingredient lists, and impossible-to-verify claims.
So we made the opposite choice. Instead of adding more, we sought to clarify. Clarify what we put into our formulas, why we put it there, and what it actually does. Clarify our commitments, our limitations, and our progress.
At Bloomup, responsible beauty is not a marketing ploy. It's a constraint we impose on ourselves: in our formulas, in our packaging, in our relationships with our partners, and in how we treat our teams.
Twelve years later, this constraint remains our best guide."
Maxime Finaz de Villaine,
CEO of Bloomup

OUR ROLE,
TODAY & TOMORROW
We have 3 certainties:
- Effectiveness should not be a privilege.
- Sensoriality is non-negotiable.
- Responsibility is not a promise: it is a commitment.
And this is reflected in our two sister brands, two complementary territories:
- Énergie Fruit: hair & body care
- Énergiqa: face care
3 Fundamental Commitments
1. What we put in our products
2. What we do for the planet
3. What we do for people

OUR PRODUCTS
COMMITTED
We formulate using ingredients whose role, origin, and concentration we can explain. No ingredients included just for the INCI list, no unsubstantiated claims.
Our criteria:
- Minimum 95% of ingredients of natural origin, measured product by product according to ISO 16128 standard.
- Plant-based alternatives systematically prioritized over ingredients derived from petrochemicals or of animal origin.
- Proven efficacy by independent studies: usage tests, instrumental evaluations, clinical studies — results available and verifiable.
- Exclusion list incorporating everything that poses a proven risk to health or the environment, beyond mere regulatory obligations.

THE PLANET
TO RESPECT
A beauty brand's environmental responsibility is not limited to its formulas. It begins with raw materials and only ends once the packaging is empty and recycled.
Our concrete actions:
- French manufacturing with suppliers selected according to defined and verified ethical and environmental criteria.
- Carbon footprint measured across the entire chain, including Scope 3, with publicly disclosed reduction targets.
- Eco-designed packaging: maximized recycled materials, 100% recyclable, 24% reduction in plastic in our 250ml tubes, solid alternatives available.
- Zero internal waste: second life for products via Greez and anti-waste platforms.

PEOPLE
FIRST
Truly accessible skincare is skincare that you understand, can afford, and whose real effects you know.
This translates to:
- Transparent formulation, documented benefits, and a price designed to remain within the standards of the natural skincare market.
- Intuitive formats and instructions for use — a good routine shouldn't require a chemistry degree.
- Co-creation with our community of testers, because the best formulas answer real questions.
- Internally: fair working conditions, access to training, and CSR commitment valued at all levels.
- An ESAT partnership for the packaging of our products.
- Our support for the Joséphine Association, which helps women in precarious situations.
