Composition
& Formulation

At Energie Fruit, we pride ourselves on creating products with the most natural possible composition. We have therefore chosen natural, vegan, and Made in France formulations, without compromising on effectiveness.

As sulfates are very aggressive for hair fibers and the scalp, we do not use them in any of our formulas. Sulfates are responsible for lather, which is why our formulas lather less than sulfate shampoos. But rest assured, this does not diminish their effectiveness or gentleness. On the contrary, sulfate-free shampoos help maintain the hair's natural moisture and provide long-lasting protection 😊

As part of our continuous improvement approach, we are actively working on the progressive reformulation of our products to incorporate alternatives to PEG-10, whenever technically possible.

Some of our skincare products are already formulated without this ingredient, while maintaining our requirements for sensoriality and performance.

However, to guarantee these same qualities in our sulfate-free shampoos, we still currently use PEG-10. This ingredient, authorized by European regulations, is selected for its specific properties, while we await identification of a fully satisfactory alternative.

Yes, our formulas are designed to be kind to all skin types, even the most sensitive. To ensure this, they are systematically subjected to dermatological testing. All our fragrances contain a maximum of naturally derived ingredients.

A natural product contains ingredients derived from nature, as opposed to animal or chemical ingredients. An organic product is certified by an independent organization and adheres to strict specifications. Some of our products are certified organic by Ecocert, including our body care and deodorants!

We use preservatives only when necessary, such as in emulsion-type formulas. This allows us to guarantee the stability and safety of our formulas. The preservative system we use is the gentlest available for skin and scalp. When possible, we do without preservatives altogether, as is the case with our Déocrèmes.

Sulfates are foaming agents commonly used in conventional shampoos. While they help create a rich lather, they can also be harsh on the scalp and hair fiber.

What are the effects of sulfates on hair?

Scalp irritation: Sulfates, such as sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) or sodium laureth sulfate (SLES), are powerful surfactants that strip away natural sebum. The result? A drier scalp, prone to itching and irritation.
Weakened and dull hair: By stripping the hair fiber too intensely, sulfates can make hair more brittle, split and dull, especially if it is colored, curly or naturally dry.
Rebound effect on the scalp: An stressed scalp can produce more sebum in reaction, making the roots oily more quickly.

Our shampoos are sulfate-free to respect the natural balance of hair and scalp, while guaranteeing a light and effective lather thanks to naturally derived cleansing agents.

Use of
Products

Our Energie Fruit products have two expiration dates that you can easily find out:

The best before date after opening (BOP): you can find it on the back of the product pack. It is written in the
small logo of a pot with a lid with this inscription: 12M

Little tip: M means “month” (here for example, the product has 12 months after opening to be used).

Store them in a cool, dry place, away from light and temperature fluctuations. In particular, avoid exposing Déocrème to heat to preserve its creamy texture.

Our products are all suitable for children ages 3 and up! Our gentle, sulfate-free, silicone-free, dye-free, and pH-neutral formulas are ideal for little ones.

At Energie Fruit, we are committed to formulating products that are as gentle and safe as possible. The majority of our hair and body care products are made with naturally derived ingredients (between 95% and 100%).

💡 Good to know: Our ranges without essential oils are generally well tolerated, but every woman is unique, and caution is still advised during these sensitive periods.

You can use Coco Curl Jelly on dry hair to refresh your curls. But for best results, apply it to damp hair after shampooing and conditioning. For a morning refresh, lightly dampen your curls before applying a small amount of jelly. This will help the jelly penetrate the hair fiber better, ensuring long-lasting curl hold.

White residue is often caused by over-application, poor distribution, or if the product was applied to dry hair. Warm it between your hands before applying and use a comb or your fingers to spread it evenly through your curls.

Oh yes! Its formula is designed to hold your style from morning to night, without a stiff finish. Your curls stay defined, without residue or weighing your hair down.

Not at all! Its light texture allows it to hold without suffocating your scalp. And as always with Energie Fruit, the formula is natural to respect your skin and hair.

If your scalp is itchy, becomes oily too quickly, or conversely, is very dry and your hair is dull, it's because it needs a little reset! An unbalanced scalp can also be the cause of hair loss or dandruff. To address all these issues, we have developed the Detox Aloe Range, consisting of a Rebalancing Shampoo, an SOS Detox Scalp Serum and an Exfoliating Scalp Massage Brush.

Our Detox Shampoo and Detox Serum are here to purify and soothe your scalp. Enriched with green tea and aloe vera for the shampoo and centella asiatica and aloe vera for the serum, they help regulate excess sebum, calm irritation, and restore lightness to your roots. Bye-bye scalp crisis, hello fresh and healthy hair!

Body Products

Yes, but that's not all! It provides 24-hour protection, while being gentler on your skin thanks to its 100% natural formula and smooth finger application.

Our deocrème contains plant-based oils and butters that react to temperature variations. Store it away from heat and sunlight to prevent it from liquefying. If this happens, don't panic; it won't affect its effectiveness or quality. It will return to its original shape when temperatures drop.

It's designed for the body, but some users have successfully applied it to their face. However, we haven't tested it on this area, so use is at your discretion.

Milk: moisturizes by penetrating quickly, without a greasy finish.
Oil: nourishes more intensely and leaves a satiny effect on the skin.
